Hi, I'm Lisa!

I wanted to give some information about me as the writer so you can know what to expect when speaking to me OOC for whatever reason.

  • I'm 35 years of age and am based in the southeastern United States in the EST time zone. I'm in a region of the United States known as Appalachia. I have a very thick Southern accent that people always love bringing up for some reason.

  • I'm happily married to my partner, who doesn't RP. They do, however, have dissociative identity disorder (otherwise known as multiple personality disorder) and I sometimes take some of my writing methodologies from two of their many altars.

  • I am a huge reader as well and love mythology (mostly Egyptian and Greek, though I also love Roman) and fantasy romance. I will also tear through a dystopian novel or two when the chance to do so arises. My favorite dystopian series, unsurprisingly, is The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins.

  • When it comes to writing, I tend to match your reply/starter length whenever possible but sometimes I can't seem to help myself and will write multiple "tweets" worth. I'm not sorry for this. Nope, never. lmao

  • I absolutely love writing the starter so I can set the stage the way I see our storyline in my head and have been known to beg to be the one to write the starter on more than one occasion in the past.

  • I have been RPing since late 2013 and made my start on Twitter. I have RPed on several websites since then but I will never claim to be an expert.

  • I am also known to be slow with responding at times because my muse is quite moody. I cannot guarantee that I'll be able to write out a reply or starter that I owe you when I say that I'm sitting down to respond to things.

  • I will have Furiosa be multi-ship for the most part but I don't have an OTP or anything. I may end up not shipping her at all unless my partner decides he wants to write with us. I'm very relaxed when it comes to shipping so don't worry. lol

All about Furiosa | Background and Verses

Here's the background I promised.

I decided I wanted to compile a few verses for people in case our characters are not from the same universe, which I'm going to assume is a given since I've noticed that a lot of people aren't familiar with the Mad Max franchise.• The main verse for Furiosa is from the Mad Max franchise. After she kills Immortan Joe while trying to get the wives away from him and into a safe place, she takes over the Citadel. She tries her hardest not to become a tyrant like she saw him to be. What bothers her the most is that she used to believe in what he was doing and feels sad that he strayed from his original beliefs as the years went on. She decides she wants to be a different kind of ruler who doesn't want to control every aspect of someone's life. It fills her with disgust, even if most people avoid her because they find her to be brash enough to be rude. She feels that she'd rather be direct instead of beating around the bush most of the time.• I also have a Jurassic Park verse where Furiosa is a scientist who is more interested in finding species that haven't been discovered yet. She has become almost obsessed with this goal, though she has told no one of it so far. She has been known to be direct enough that she is considered to be quite rude. She doesn't like small talk and would rather get straight to the point, which a lot of people find to be quite rude. She happily considers herself to be a nerd when it comes to the samples she is given and she has been known to run tests that aren't exactly on the docket just to learn more about the species the sample came from. She has gotten into trouble for this more than once.• I also have Furiosa in the Devil May Cry universe as a mole for Vergil. She is trying to get out from working for Arius, who has essentially been holding her hostage with some information against her that could ruin what is left of her life. She had originally started working for him after he held her mother hostage but she kept working for him as an indentured slave of sorts after he killed her mother. She thought that working as a mole against Arius for Vergil may help her get out if Vergil can get the information she has about Arius out to the public in a way that could get her out of her deal with Arius. She doesn't initially trust Vergil but eventually sees that she has no other option at the end of the day.• I'm working on a vampire verse for Furiosa as well and it would take place either in the Interview with a Vampire franchise by Anne Rice or the Underworld film franchise with Kate Beckinsale. This verse will be written out here when I have it fleshed out fully in my head.
